December
I wish to thank all viewers and purchasers a Happy and Prosperous New Year, keep coming back for new images.
The following image is the last taken in 2009 and is one of my favourites already and it prints well too...

November
I can't claim that the millstone idea was mine!!
Geoff Simpson must claim the credit for that, plus his image is much better than mine.
October
A bout of the flu, put paid to much of October for myself, A quick trip out to the Peaks allowed me to capture possibly the last of the autumnal colour before the frosts arrive, I love the warm weather but you can't beat a harsh frost or even better snow, Bring it on!!!
September
September proved a poor month, photographically, for me at least!! But God loves a trier, and a long drive to Scotland produced a couple of worthwhile images

August
The promised heat wave never made it, but the month produced some good light

July
An early jaunt back up to the North East proved eventful, the skies were truly breathtaking
June
Well the weather is typically British as usual, red hot one minute and raining the next, but the storm clouds and late sunshine add that certain je ne sais quoi!!

May
Spring it would seem is finally upon us, but as I type this the rain is blowing horizontally!!! Ah well summer is around the corner...
April
A 10 day jaunt to the Isle of Skye and the Glencoe area of Scotland provided a few photographic opportunities inbetween gale force winds and torrential rain... Note to self, try visiting in the Summer!!

February
A new month and a slight change in weather brought heavy snowfall to most of Britain for a week or two, Great you would think but with most of it seemingly falling on Sunday evenings and travelling to and from work in the dark limited photo opportunities somewhat, the following are some of the images captured around the Peak District National Park
January 2009
A quick trip to the Northumbrian coastline at the beginning of the year proved to be fruitful despite the best efforts of the weather. If you have never visited both the coastline and further inland provide stunning vista's, great walking country, castles and world class historical sites but more importantly the chance to get away from the masses.Enjoy!!
